In this talk Cameron emphasized the points about the necessity of curiosity, leadership, risk taking, and passion in everyone's lives and actions. His points are already backed up by the ethos of him being the filmmaker to direct the two largest grossing movies of all time, but also by his experiences as an artist and scuba diver. Cameron also uses allusions to his own well known films such as Terminator, Aliens, The Abyss, Titanic, and Avatar. The pathos comes through clearly in his argument, and it is easy to see that the reason he has done what he has with his life was out of curiosity and devotion to his favorite subjects.
